Wrap Up Insurance Program/Services

Teamwork is the cornerstone to a successful Wrap Up program. Our unique philosophy is one that facilitates total teamwork with all of the various parties and groups involved, i.e. Owner, Construction Manager, General Contractors, Subcontractors (all tiers), Insurance Companies, and other interested outside parties. The majority of all successful Wrap Ups have been those that make sure each party understands their roles and value to the overall success. We use a “subcontractor friendly” approach when handling the day to day administration on the project site knowing we owe a responsibility to the contractors as they are an “insured” under the program. We work with the carriers to ensure their expectations are being met and that they also provide value-added services besides just the insurance policy.

Areas of Services and Product Expertise that are our Agent partners can choose from are:

  1. Feasibility Analysis
    1. We can advise on types, sizes, states of projects that are eligible for a Wrap Up whether it is for a Workers Compensation/General Liability Wrap or just a General Liability Only Wrap Ups.
    2. We can prepare Pro-Formas based on our vast contractor database, industry information and current insurance market pricing, to help you and your client make the best educated decision on whether to do a Wrap Up or not.
  2. Contract Facilitation
    1. Review and facilitate the development of generally accepted Contract Language and Communicate the intention of the with Owners and General Contractors
    2. After determining that a project is feasible for a Wrap Up, we can work with the project team on Contract Language and Communications between the construction parties.
  3. Placement Advice & Marketing Guidance
    1. We work with our agent partners and their established carrier relationships as well as assist in introducing them to new carriers as identified in the Feasibility stage.
    2. We can provide the communication and consulting guidance to these niche Wrap Up Insurance underwriters as requested and/or required.
    3. We can advise on the best coverage's, terms and pricing in the current market place while our agent partner still has control of the process and placement.
  4. Claims and Safety
    1. We can assist our agent partners in the oversight of these two critical areas of successful Wrap Ups.
    2. We have an extensive partner network and internal staff members that will make sure you have the needed resources to support and enhance your Safety and Claims program.
  5. Consulting & Audit Services
    1. We can provide consultative services for your clients that may not be purchasing a Wrap Up, but would need assistance and guidance on projects they are involved with that are in Wrap Ups.
    2. We also can perform Audits of existing or completed Wrap Up programs on behalf of the Wrap Up Sponsor.


General Liability Only Wraps- this product has re-emerged over the past few years to meet the various coverage and control needs of insurance buyers. These Wraps are geared towards smaller projects (as low as $2,000,000 in construction value) that normally wouldn’t qualify for the “large” combined Workers Compensation/ Liability Wrap up, or meet a coverage need. For example, in more litigious Construction Defect climates, these products provide the majority of Liability coverage on smaller and, in particular, residential projects.

Our GL Only Wrap Up experience is extensive with over 100 GL Only Wraps in more than 20 states.
